The Golden Triangle, made up of the cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, is classic India at its very best. This tantalising triumvirate serves up everything you'd expect from a country with such a rich and varied history and a reputation for chaos and conformity in equal measure. On this tailor-made holiday, you'll discover dazzling forts, ornate palaces, bustling markets and colourful bazaars. Learn about the history of the Raj, the colonialism of the British Empire and marvel at the splendour of some of the world's most iconic buildings including Delhi's Red Fort, Jaipur's Pink Palace and the majestic Taj Mahal.



India's Golden Triangle Itinerary: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

  • Arrive in Delhi, the capital city of India, and transfer to your hotel.
  • Rest and relax after your journey or take an optional exploration of nearby attractions.
  • Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

  • Explore Old Delhi: Visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Chandni Chowk, experiencing the vibrant street life and markets.
  • Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
  • Discover New Delhi: Explore India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Residence), and Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.
  • Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra

  • Drive to Agra, home to the iconic Taj Mahal.
  • Visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
  • Explore Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its stunning architecture and historical significance.
  • Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4: Agra to Jaipur (via Fatehpur Sikri)

  • En route to Jaipur, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved Mughal architecture.
  • Continue your journey to Jaipur, the vibrant Pink City of Rajasthan.
  • Rest and relax at your hotel or explore the local markets.
  • Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur Sightseeing

  • Visit Amber Fort, a majestic fort located on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the city.
  • Explore City Palace, a royal residence with museums and courtyards showcasing Rajasthani art and architecture.
  • Visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a unique five-story structure with intricate lattice windows.
  • Explore the colorful bazaars of Jaipur for shopping and souvenirs.
  • Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 6: Jaipur to Delhi (Departure)

  • Drive back to Delhi.
  • Depending on your departure schedule, you can explore more of Delhi or relax before your onward journey.
  • Departure from Delhi, taking with you the wonderful memories of India's Golden Triangle.

  3. Meals: Daily breakfast included in the hotel package. Some packages may include additional meals (lunches and dinners) as specified in the itinerary.

  4. Guided Tours: Knowledgeable and experienced local guides for sightseeing tours and excursions, providing historical and cultural insights.

  5. Entrance Fees: All entrance fees to monuments, museums, national parks, and other attractions mentioned in the itinerary.

  6. Activities: Inclusion of specified activities mentioned in the itinerary, such as guided tours, cultural performances, wildlife safaris, and adventure activities.

  7. Airport Transfers: Airport pickup and drop-off services, ensuring a smooth transition from your arrival to the hotel and vice versa.

  8. Taxes and Service Charges: All applicable taxes, service charges, and government levies included in the package price.

  9. Travel Documentation: Assistance with necessary travel documentation, permits, and local registrations, where applicable.

Exclusions:

  1. Flights: International and domestic airfare to and from the destination is not included unless specified in the package.

  2. Visa Fees: Fees for obtaining the necessary visas for international travel are not included and are the responsibility of the traveler.

  3. Personal Expenses: Expenses of a personal nature, including but not limited to telephone calls, laundry, minibar, room service, and souvenirs.

  4. Optional Activities: Any optional tours, excursions, or activities not mentioned in the itinerary are not included and can be arranged at an additional cost.

  5. Travel Insurance: Travel insurance coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events is not included but highly recommended.

  6. Tips and Gratuities: Tips for guides, drivers, hotel staff, and other service providers are not included and are at your discretion.

  7. Meals: Meals not specified in the itinerary, snacks, and beverages outside of designated meal times are not included unless explicitly mentioned.

  8. Transportation to Optional Activities: Transportation to activities or attractions not included in the itinerary is not provided unless specified.
